Sad week. Erik from the Mischief Brew and The Orphans has passed away. Details still out there. I never really knew Erik. I was around in the West Chester days when he was screaming out vocals for The Orphan at the YWCA in '97. "The Government stole my Germs CD" rotated my record player weekly as a bleach blonde, angry punk rock gal. Years later he invaded my ears with "Smash The Windows" Mischief Brew release. Rest in peace my friend.

Memories. Alone in the moonlight! No topic next podcast Lou and I are going to wax poetic on old Comic Shop times, involving music we used to rock. Not just us, old employees. We'll see how our Facebook responses go with our old friends.

Saw such a great show last night. There was a free punk show at Neshamity Creek Brewery. The line-up: Goddamnit! , Menzingers, Off With Their Heads, Suicide Machines. Good bands, good times, good beers! Totally rocked out like a 16 year old girl to OWTH. Dancing, screaming out lyrics, waving my fists in the air. And Suicide Machines blew me away. I didn't realize how punk they were. I was thinking more ska. Totally had to influence Choking Victim. Anyways, haven't been to a show like that since The Virus reunion a few years back. Had a SUPER great time!

Gearing up for the mini episode tonight on this Memorial Day weekend. I'm reviewing the new Angel Du$t album and the two singles from The Julie Ruin. Angel Du$t is so hard to pin down words to their sound. Definitely some good shit though.

Been also listening to some good stuff that I might review next time. Zach Quinn's (PEARS) solo record and the new PRAISE album. Check 'em out if your bored and dicking around on the computer this weekend.

Any more topic idea, or how you like Jenk's segment, pop us an email (trashsouthstreet.gmail.com) or hit us up on Facebook. Cheers!!!

Next topic, greatest fictional bands. There's plenty. Let us know yours!

I'm sitting at my computer listening to Bossk on a Tuesday night.
